In 1999 L’Etivaz was the first Swiss product apart from wine to be awarded AOC status. In 2013 this became AOP (« Appellation d’Origine Protégée »).
L’Etivaz is a classic alpine cheese, with a smooth, creamy texture and a strong taste with hints of fruit and hazelnut. It is prized by cheese lovers everywhere.
